daily photo (60) ripple shadow

Liked the shape of the ripples under this boat, and the solitary leaf. Have been ill for a few days, hence the gap 😦

Daily photo (59) coloured building

Round Beckton way this afternoon. For some reason, all the architecture round there is ‘colourful’- not in a good way, either!

Daily photo (58) cupboard handles

In need of a bit of sanding, but interesting enough I think! Once again photo of the day is a late-night kitchen operation 😉

Daily photo (57) striped stride

Missed a day yesterday (too much philosophy) and not a massive selection today. I like the angles and movement in this one though. I’m rather pleased it composed so well without cropping- it’s the kind of balance that’d take an age if you tried to hard at it…

Daily photo (56) Wellcome steps

Testing a new (40mm equiv) lens today, though short of time at lunch. Liked the form of these steps outside the Wellcome Centre.

Daily photo (55) dogs wait

A menagerie of photos at the moment- these two little dogs waited patiently for their owner (lady approaching in green coat). I was thinking of doing quite a few shots, but their owner didn’t seem that keen.

Daily photo (54) nosey swan

Washing up today livened up by a nosey young swan. Later on he tried to eat my camera…in this slightly gentler shot I liked the angle of his head and the ripples in the background.

Daily photo (53) in a spin

A bit mysterious this time…black and white tiles + 1/6 sec exposure + a bit of a spin = something quite beautiful!
NB No pos-proc or Photoshop!

My good friend Mike, an inspirational thinker with plenty to say!

Liked the strong perspective and dark tones in this shot
