The Ipsolen sank off Sheringham on 23 January 1897. All the crew were rescued by the local lifeboat.
In this shot I like the alignment of the ship’s ribs with the sun, and the distant figure at the top of the shot (they just happened to be there!) It was also good to get the tide lapping the ribs at the bottom of the shot.
